About these terms
Toba is provided by Jalebi LLC for adults seeking connections in the Coptic Christian community. These terms govern your use of the Toba app and website. Toba is preparing for public release; app features apply where available, including during testing.
When you create an account, you must agree to these terms and the community rules. The Privacy Policy explains data processing. Toba is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by a church, parish or diocese.
The iPhone app is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. These service terms address your account, interactions and use of Toba. Apple’s applicable terms also govern App Store transactions and any TestFlight access.
Who may use Toba
- You must be at least 18 and legally able to agree to these terms and use the service where you live.
- Use Toba for genuine, personal dating purposes. Provide accurate information, your own current photographs and an account you are authorized to use.
- Keep control of your account and sign-in codes. Do not impersonate someone, operate deceptive accounts or evade a suspension or ban.
- You are responsible for the content you share and must have the rights and permissions needed to share it.
Respect the community
Our Community Guidelines and Child Safety Standards form part of these terms. They apply to profiles, photographs, messages and other interactions connected with Toba.
- No harassment, threats, hate, stalking, coercion or sharing someone’s private information without permission.
- No scams, requests for money, spam, commercial solicitation or misleading content.
- No nudity, explicit sexual content, sexual exploitation, child abuse material or sexual conduct involving anyone under 18.
- No unlawful conduct, infringement of others’ rights, scraping, unauthorized automated access or interference with the service.
- Respect a refusal, an unmatch or a block. Do not use another account or channel to pursue unwanted contact.
Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant Jalebi LLC a non-exclusive permission to host, store, copy, process, format and display that content as reasonably needed to provide Toba, deliver it to its intended audience, maintain security and handle safety or legal matters.
This permission does not give us ownership of your content. It ends when the relevant content is deleted, except for copies and uses that must remain for the purposes explained in the Privacy Policy, such as completing deletion or complying with a legal obligation.
Do not rely on Toba as the only storage location for content you need to keep. Other people may independently copy information you choose to share with them.
Verification and safety
Photo verification checks a live selfie against a profile photo and uses related fraud signals. It is not an age, legal-identity, religious-affiliation or criminal-background check, and it cannot guarantee that a person is trustworthy or safe.
The current app requires photo verification before discovery and messaging. Read the verification notice and the Privacy Policy before choosing to start. Contact support about a failed check or a restriction.
Use your judgment when communicating or meeting. You are free to stop contact at any time. In immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Toba is not an emergency-response service.
Reports, restrictions and review
We may review relevant content or account activity, withhold or remove content, limit features, suspend an account or terminate access when needed to enforce these terms, investigate a safety concern, comply with law or protect the service. Automated checks and human review may both be used.
If you believe a restriction or moderation decision is mistaken, contact support@tobadating.com and explain what happened. Please include an available report or error reference. Do not create another account to bypass the restriction. Reporting does not guarantee a particular action or response time.
Toba Plus and App Store billing
Toba Plus is an optional paid subscription where offered. Before you purchase, the app and Apple’s purchase sheet show the subscription period, price, currency and applicable terms. Those displayed terms apply to the purchase. A paid subscription does not guarantee a match, reply, relationship or access despite an account restriction.
Payment is charged through your Apple Account after you authorize the purchase. An auto-renewing subscription renews unless you cancel it in time under Apple’s displayed terms. Manage or cancel it through your Apple Account subscriptions. Cancellation normally stops future renewals; the displayed expiration date determines remaining access.
Deleting Toba, deleting your account, signing out or being restricted does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it separately. See Apple’s cancellation instructions.
Use Restore purchases in Toba with the appropriate Apple Account to restore an eligible purchase. If an Apple charge or subscription is not reflected in Toba, contact support rather than repeatedly purchasing. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled through Apple’s refund process, subject to applicable consumer rights.
Price or subscription changes will be communicated through the app or Apple as applicable. Any required consent is handled before the relevant change takes effect.
Availability and outcomes
We may change features, correct problems or interrupt access for maintenance or security. Some features are limited during testing. Toba does not promise uninterrupted access, a particular number of members, compatibility, matches or a specific dating outcome.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. The applicable app license and consumer law govern any warranty or liability limitations; these terms do not impose a separate mandatory arbitration process or waive statutory consumer rights.
Ending use and contacting us
You can stop using Toba at any time. Follow Delete your account to close the account, and separately cancel any App Store subscription. The Privacy Policy explains deletion processing and records that may remain.
We may update these terms and publish the revised date. We will provide additional notice or request agreement where required for a material change.
